Custom Hand Assembled Rifles and Muskets!
Above is a nice 1717 French Infantry Musket our Series 575 we recently built for a TRS Customer.

Have you been browsing our site but don't know if you have the ability or the time to build the gun of your dreams.  Well, do we have good news for you. We are starting to hand assemble several of the weapons we offer.  Let us take a moment to tell you what kind of work goes into our hand assembled rifles.

Each one of our rifles is hand built, using the most exact components that we make (all parts are made in the U.S.). Every attention is paid to even the smallest of details. We spend eleven hours assembling and polishing each of our locks. After polishing we then color case harden the old way with charcoal and bone meal to get the correct colors and hardness of the originals. They are then tuned for trigger pull and sparking. We consider them the finest military locks in the world, even exceeding the originals.

Each blank is then selected for grain flow in the wrist and then shaped. All components are hand fitted to the stock and hand sanded so that no detail is lost. We use an oil based finish that is hand rubbed in. All metal components come with a high polished finish. Our barrels are made of the finest gun barrel steel available, and each rifles barrel is then lapped to obtain the most perfect bore available. Our barrels also come with a high polished finish or they can be ordered with a rust brown finish.

Our hand assembled rifles are the finest and most exacting hand fitted military rifles in the world. No one exceeds our quality. Our rifles are made to be used and to last a lifetime and passed on from generation to generation. The locks on our hand assembled rifles come with a lifetime guarantee. Our finished rifles are stamped with the original proof marks on the barrel, locks and tangs. The stocks on our Baker Rifles are stamped with the original style British Property Store Keepers marks. The stock on our Harpers Ferry Rifles are stamped with the original style inspectors stamps.  Each rifle is then sighted in so it is ready to shoot when you receive it, we will even send you the original test target if requested.  Our average delivery time on any of our custom hand fitted rifles is 4 - 8 months. We are so proud of our quality our guarantee is very simple, upon receiving one of our standard rifles, if you do not think it is well worth the money, just return it for a refund

Our few of our hand assembled rifles and muskets start out at $1,995.00 and go up from there.  We offer several different options for the weapons we are assembling, we have listed just a few below.

    * Substitute standard English Walnut on Stock $75
    * Upgrade to Fancy English or American Walnut $150 - $700
    * Browning of the Barrel $95

We only require a minimum deposit of 50% on all finished rifles and muskets before we start and the remaining balance before we ship.  If you have a certain weapon in mind that you see us offering parts for just drop us a line and we will let you know if it's one we are currently hand assembling.

We are currently working on updating our WEBsite with a new Online Payment Method and Current Prices.  Before placing an order with us please contact us for updated prices.

We stock many items, but each item is custom cast or made by us to the exact specifications of the originals parts, we have copied.  Due to the investment casting process which we use there are sometimes delays due to this process which in turn requires patience from our customers, the average delivery time on our parts is between 60 and 90 days, if the parts you order are not in stock.  We assure you that the quality of our parts is well worth any wait, as many of the items we make have never been offered by anyone before.  If you are serious about the authenticity of your weapon then the time will be a small price to pay.

Many of the pictures shown on this web site are of original pieces. We do not sell any original pieces on this web site only reproduction's of the original parts we have copied.

If the item description does not say assembled then you are buying the castings of that particular item.  To see the difference between an assembled lock and a set of lock castings please click the button below.
