1798 Austrian Musket (885)
The new 1798 pattern is very similar to the 1777 French with the exception of the bands and one piece trigger guard. The barrel is 44 1/4" in length and .69 to .72 caliber. This musket is all steel mounted. In 1807 a new cast trigger guard was adopted without the finger grooves.
