In 1814, Norway won its independence from Denmark. The following pistols were actually made or converted in the Norwegian Arsenal of Kongsburg, so they would be considered Norwegians patterns.
Many of the 1772 were converted to percussion, dog catches were added. Internal lock parts are still the same as the earlier models. The barrels were shortened and the ramrods were removed.
