Early Queen Anne Doglock Musket (844)
This is a very nice quality Early Doglock Musket “Full Butted w/squared Breech Barrel” (octagon to round) 46" long. The lock plate measures 7 3/8" x 1 3/16". The throw of the cock is 2". This lock features the early wide frizzen with beefy internals. The lock plate is marked E. Nicholson “8”. This is one of our nicest sets for the early Military Doglocks. The butt is almost 2 1/2" wide on this gun. The barrel is a 10 Bore (.77 Caliber).
