1756 Light Dragoon Carbine (592)
One of the smaller carbines brought in during the Seven Years War (French and Indian War), it had a 36" barrel making it much easier to handle by a mounted troop. The Late Kit Ravenshear had provided us with perfect pattern pieces from his collection, we were able to reproduce the weapon exactly as it should be. Basically all furniture is scaled down Long Land pattern. This gun is very similar to the Artillery Carbine with the exception of the pinched in bow on the trigger guard, it also has a side sling bar. The Barrel is 36" in .62 or .65 caliber. The lock plate measures 6" x 1 1/16". The throw of the cock is 1 5/8".
