Joe Manton Rifle Lock and Breech (755)
This is from a Manton Rifle. The lock is fitted with a fly and safety. The patent breech is the recessed type for 1 1/8" barrel with thread sizes from 3/4" to 7/8". The frizzen is the roller type with the small vent wiper. These are the last styles that Manton built for just pure speed of ignition. The lock plate measures 4 3/4" x 1". The throw of the cock is 1 5/16".
