Roman Lock (523)
This lock differs from the Spanish Miquelets. The main spring is on the front of the cock toe instead of behind the heel. Very nice quality lock of the type of construction used in Central and Northern Italy. The lock plate measures 4 5/8" x 7/8". The throw of the cock is 1 9/16".
