Late English Matchlock (571)
This is the later ordnance pattern English Matchlock Musket that was used until the 1680’s. The pan is attached to the lock plate, making it a complete mechanism. This is the largest matchlock musket we make. This musket does not have front thimbles, it uses a metal band around the front of the forestock to retain the ramrod. The barrel is 46" long, octagonal at the breech tapering in round and flares at the muzzle, in .77 caliber.
