1710-1720's English Bayonet (638)
This is the early form of what would later become the standard Brown Bess bayonet. Note the long shank between the socket and blade. This is the correct bayonet for the Queen Anne and very early Brown Bess muskets. This comes from the Eric Goldstein Collection. The overall length of this bayonet is 19".
